IMPLEMENTATION OF A BALANCED FEED PROCESSING PLANT IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PALOS BLANCOS

This strategic project consists of the development and implementation of a modern balanced feed processing plant intended to supply the national markets for the bovine, swine and poultry sectors. The initiative includes the comprehensive construction of the infrastructure, the installation of state‑of‑the‑art equipment and machinery, the implementation of an efficient electrical system and the adoption of environmental mitigation measures to ensure sustainable operation. The project will be carried out through the following key phases: Construction and Equipment: Building the facilities and acquiring the machinery and equipment needed for production. Installation and Assembly: Assembling and commissioning all plant components. Testing and Operational Optimization: Verifying optimal plant performance and adjusting production processes. Knowledge Transfer and Training: Developing local capabilities through technological and intellectual transfer for operation and maintenance of the equipment. Implementation and Commercialization: Starting large‑scale production and distribution of balanced feed in the regional markets of La Paz and Beni. The plant will have a complete and functional infrastructure, which includes: Raw Material Reception and Storage: Truck scale, input storage pit, grain cleaning area, screw conveyors and grain elevator. Grain Storage: 2 storage silos with a capacity of 100 tonnes each. Processing and Mixing: Precision scale, 6 finished feed storage silos of 40 tonnes each, high‑efficiency mill, pressing system, premix area and horizontal screw mixer. Specialized Processing and Packaging: Extruder for specific foods, automatic bagger and industrial seamer. Finished Product Storage: Dedicated space for storing the ready‑to‑distribute balanced feed. Support Infrastructure: Administrative offices, staff cafeteria, housing for the manager, control gate, access and internal roads, perimeter lighting system and security fencing. Strategically located on a 13‑hectare site, this processing plant represents much more than an investment in physical assets. It stands as a pivotal opportunity for economic diversification, direct and indirect job creation and the strengthening of the economy of the municipality of Palos Blancos. By establishing local production of high‑quality balanced feed, the project will position the region as a key and competitive player within the agricultural value chain at the regional level.
